Treasury details JobMaker rules, eliminates sole traders
The Treasury has released draft rules for the JobMaker hiring credit, defining in detail the eligibility criteria and exclusions that apply for the duration of the scheme, as well as confirming the ineligibility of sole traders.

The Treasury has released the exposure draft Coronavirus Economic Response Package (Payments and Benefits) Amendment Rules (No. 9) 2020 for consultation, while the legislation itself is being debated by the Senate economics legislation committee, with a report expected on 6 November.
