A Regional Banking Taskforce has been established by the federal government to find solutions to the shutdown of bank branches throughout Australia.

Taskforce starts consultation on regional bank closures

Assistant Treasurer, Minister for Housing and Minister for Homelessness Social and Community Housing, Michael Sukkar, and Senator Perin Davey will be co-chairs on the taskforce and are beginning public consultations as soon as possible.
