Matthew Addison, executive chairman of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), said that great care and effort has gone into the development of Single Touch Payroll (STP), and that the tax office has been consulting with a wide variety of stakeholders — including ICB, software providers and others — for at least the past three years.
