Regional Victoria hits step 3 of roadmap ahead of schedule
The regional areas of Victoria will be moving straight to step 3 of its roadmap out of lockdown earlier than expected after reaching the state government’s “trigger point” to ease restrictions.

The area reached a 14-day average of 3.6 coronavirus cases with no mystery cases on Tuesday. As a result, an easing of restrictions will apply from 11.59pm on Wednesday, 16 September.
