Queensland budget lashed by industry body for lacking SME stimulus
The Queensland 2020–21 budget fails to deliver the required measures needed to protect businesses ahead of a looming economic cliff, says a peak industry body.

According to Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland (CCIQ) economist Jack Baxter, despite increased borrowings, there was a missed opportunity to outline any additional immediate measures to assist small businesses over what is expected to be a tough recovery.
