Porter confirms 1.1m casuals will miss out on JobKeeper
The JobKeeper program is due to go before a reduced Parliament on Wednesday, but it appears the government won’t be making any further amendments to its eligibility criteria and will ignore calls to broaden its scope to include more casuals in the program.

Addressing the country on Monday, Attorney-General Christian Porter said the government will refine its plan ahead of the pared-back sitting of Parliament mid-week, but he explained that the “essential principles” will not change.
