PM announces paid pandemic leave

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that employees who need to self-isolate in accordance with public health orders but have no sick leave available will be able to access a one-off pandemic leave disaster payment.

Scott Morrison expressed interest in overhauling negative gearing, according to official documents

In a press conference on Monday, Mr Morrison said those with no sick leave available to them will be eligible for a $1,500 payment for the fortnight they would be required to be in isolation.
