OECD advises Australia to rethink stimulus withdrawal
The OECD has added fuel to the ongoing JobKeeper debate, judging that Australia may need to extend some income support measures beyond their original expiry to secure economic recovery.
An OECD report has revealed a grim global economic outlook, but a predicted GDP contraction of some 5 to 6.3 per cent has put Australia ahead of the pack, including the US, New Zealand, the UK and Japan.
