All or nothing company tax as Hanson invites cold call campaign

The federal government has ruled out any more compromises on company tax and will push for a vote on the remainder of its package when the Senate next sits in mid June.

Buoyed by positive poll findings and indications by Pauline Hanson that she may change her position yet again, Finance Minister Mathias Cormann said it was “most definitely our intention” to put the legislation to a vote. He said the bill would be for the full remainder of the package to reduce the tax rate for all companies from 30 per cent to 25 per cent by 2026-26.
