The NBN has marked its first quarter results by saying 200,000 additional homes and businesses will become eligible for fibre upgrades.

NBN says 200k eligible for upgrades

The upgrades will enable customers living and working in these premises that are currently served by Fibre to the Node (FTTN) to become eligible for Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) upgrades, on demand, when the customer orders certain retail plans from their service provider.
