MP welcomes ASBFEO inquiry as more SMEs refused insurance
Independent MP Andrew Wilkie has welcomed the small business ombudsman’s insurance inquiry amid what he views is a growing trend of small businesses being refused insurance.
Mr Wilkie noted in his Tasmanian electorate of a growing trend of insurance companies refusing to provide cover to small businesses or charging sky-high prices for protection.
