Mid-tier criticises tax consolidation legislation

One mid-tier accounting firm has criticised measures in the government’s draft tax consolidation legislation that will “disadvantage” companies that have been consolidated since 1 July 2016.

ASIC outlines crackdown action for second half

Last week the Minister for Revenue and Financial Services, Kelly O’Dwyer, released the Treasury Laws Amendment (2017 Measure No. 9) Bill 2017: Consolidation along with an explanatory memorandum for public consultation.
