The National Congress will provide members with a valuable range of networking opportunities through its popular social and recreational programs, all while taking in the picturesque backdrop of the Gold Coast.

The IPA has recognised the challenges that are currently facing the profession, with the theme of this year’s congress aptly entitled ‘Accounting for Change’.

Andrew Conway, IPA CEO, noted that technological advances, ongoing legislative and regulatory reforms have impacted accountants everywhere, with very few industries witnessing greater change in the past decade than the financial services environment.

“This is reflected in what promises to be a superior professional development program that will provide you with all of the necessary information to keep up to date with compliance, regulation, issues impacting public practice, commerce and industry,” noted Mr Conway.

“You are guaranteed to walk away with practical insights on how to remain a relevant and essential service for tomorrow and beyond.”

The National Congress runs from the 19 November to 21 November.
