Govt won’t ‘dictate’ how super is spent

Assistant Treasurer Kelly O'Dwyer has insisted that the government will not "dictate" how superannuation can be spent or how large individual balances can be.

Speaking to journalists in Hobart, the Treasurer was asked whether she was worried that retirees are passing their superannuation savings onto their children rather than spending it themselves.
