Former NSW premier to chair Australian Business Growth Fund
The federal government has appointed former premier of New South Wales Mike Baird as the chair of the Australian Business Growth Fund, replacing the inaugural chair who has been in the position since April.

Mr Baird served as premier of New South Wales from 2014 to 2017 and in senior positions in the investment and commercial banking sector, including a stint as the head of the corporate and institutional bank at National Australia Bank from 2017 to 2020.
