Federation and tax system reforms are on the agenda of this Friday’s national cabinet meeting, with the Prime Minister indicating that a “range of issues” needs to be worked out ahead of the budget in October.

The Prime Minister has indicated that his upcoming meeting with premiers and chief ministers will be centred on changes to the tax system and federation reforms, which he briefly flagged in Tuesday’s National Press Club speech.
