Deloitte overhauls 9-to-5 workday

From letting staff choose when their workday begins and ends to offering one paid “wellbeing day” per year, and offering staff the option to swap public holidays with days of religious significance to them, the big four firm is trying to reimagine the workplace, post-COVID.

Deloitte on Wednesday announced a “refreshed” approach to work, called the Deloitte Experience, which will do away with core working hours and offer the firm’s staff a paid wellbeing day every year.
