In its annual trading update, Deloitte,one of the big four accounting and consulting firms, says it promoted 61 people to partner internally and hired 45Â new partners over the past year, bringing its total partner count to a record 721. Women made up 39, or 37 per cent, of the 106 new partners, and now constitute 27 per cent of the total partnerships.
