BDO Australia denies merger forced upon firm by BDO International

The leadership at BDO Australia continue to insist they are driving a planned move to become a national firm and deny the shift is being forced upon the local group by BDO International.

ASIC licensing rules for accountants 'onerous, unnecessary'

This is despite a partner presentation earlier in the year stating that integration from a network of independently run offices to a centrally-run national firm was “a requirement of BDO International”.
