ATO makes draft ruling R&D tax deductions under JobKeeper
The Australian Taxation Office has sought to clarify whether JobKeeper payments received by businesses engaging in research and development (R&D) activities are deemed to be tax-deductible.

In a new draft determination, Tax Commissioner Chris Jordan said businesses that receive a JobKeeper payment for their paid employees trigger the “at-risk rule”.
