April leaves 2.7m Aussies jobless or on fewer hours
Around 2.7 million Aussies either lost their job or had their hours cut in April as a result of the coronavirus restrictions which have forced thousands of businesses to shut their doors, some indefinitely, new data from the ABS has shown.

The latest data from the Australian Bureau of Statistic has revealed that a total of 594,300 people lost their jobs in April alone, with hours worked dropping at a record pace.
