Accounting firms exposed to cyber liability, lawyers warn

Lawyers have warned that professional services firms, including accounting practices, must be proactive in their approach to cyber security management to protect themselves from attacks and exposure to liability.

In an interview with AccountantsDaily’s sister publication Lawyers Weekly, Clyde & Co partner Jenny Thornton and senior associates Tim Searle and Steven Donley noted that the standard of care expected of companies in relation to cyber threats was increasingly high.
