6-member SMSFs still sparking client interest
Just over half of SMSF professionals in a recent straw poll have stated that at least some of their clients are considering adding additional members to their fund provided the six-member SMSF bill is passed.

In early September, the government reintroduced its measure to increase the number of members allowed in an SMSF to six, when it introduced Treasury Laws Amendment (Self-Managed Superannuation Funds) Bill 2020 into the Senate.
