Welcome to pubacct.org.au

Providing that information has long been a focus for the Institute of Public Accountants through its innovative programs and services, and now we are pleased to take another step with the launch of pubacct.org.au – the Public Accountant digital hub.

The hub will house the stories from our bi-monthly Public Accountant print magazine as well as provide further web-only articles, videos, blogs and a range of interactive features to inform, entertain and inspire.

It provides a library of previous articles, making it easy to find stories and reference information you’ve read in past Public Accountant editions.  You will note that all articles are dated and tagged with the print edition of the magazine they came from – this way you will always be able to tell if an article is up to date, or if it should be used only as historical or general information.

Blog articles on pubacct.org.au will provide insights into the IPA’s culture and values and will take a less formal and often more controversial look at important issues affecting the profession.  We aim to ‘push the envelope’ in our blog pieces and to create a disturbance in the industry.

Importantly, the new digital hub means members and non-members alike can access the information they need when they need it, no matter where they are or what device they’re using.

More than just a ‘digital magazine’, the hub aims to provide information on the issues central to accountants’ work, to be a ‘go to’ resource and, most of all, to inspire discussion and community. We encourage you to get involved – make comments, share articles on your social networks and let your colleagues, and even your clients, know of this new resource.

Where to next?  The sky’s the limit, but wherever the next innovation is, we’ll be there, and hopefully you’ll come along for the ride.
